SSAS Calculated Member - getting a count of rows displayed

I am trying to create a calculated member in SSAS in the BIDS UI. This is what the data looks like:

Month       Available
Sept
Sept 5      1
Sept 6      0
Sept 7      0

Oct
Oct 1        1
Oct 2        1
Oct 3        1
Oct 4        1
Oct 5        1
Oct 6        0
Oct 7        0

I need to have a count of these rows for the formula. In this case I would want it to return the number 7 for the month of Oct and 3 for Sept. I have tried getting the Date Count, but it just gives me the number of days in the month. What i need is the count of days that are listed for a particular month based on various filters.
