SSAS 2008R2 deployment hangs saying repeatedly: _ _Test

Hi,

I have now experienced this problem on two different client sites. In one case it happened when trying to process a dimension, and today it is happening when trying to run an XMLA cube deployment script.

Basically in both cases i am running xmla from SSMS.  The results window simply repeats over and over and over and never completes:

I cant for the life of me work out why this is happening, what it means and what i need to do to be able to deploy/process!
