creating ranges in cube

Hi All,

I want to know if we can create some custom ranges in a dimension .. 

I know there is a option of creating ranges using DiscretizationMethod  , but it has some limitations For eg i cannot specify my own range 

for example :

if have ages from 1 to 100 and i want to split the ranges as 1- 10 , 20- 40 and 40-100 this wont allow me .

So is there any other way by whic i can acienve the same in a dimension .

I know I can get it done by using a named query in the DSV . but i want to know if something can be done by setting the dimension properties .
