numeric - exponential values issue in SSAS Cube

Hi,

The sum of transaction column in the database is 0. The data type for the column is numeric(19,4)

I created a cube and the format of the measure is #,##0.00, -#,##0.00. The data type used is inherited.

When I browse the cube, displayed value is 0.00 that looks OK but the actual value behind this is an exponential value like 7.8439180259151 E-12   so the grand total based on these value does not match the real total.

I ran the MDX and got the correct value i.e.  0.00   but while browsing the cube in Excel or SSAS browser the value appears as 0.00 but when I move the cursor to the cell it appears as exponential and this exponential value is used to calculate the Grand Total.

Thanks.
