MDX help : is it possible to retrieve only one data when there is duplicate data in multiple partitions

Hi All

at a particular point of time the data is dulpicatating in 2 partitions . when we get the value of the mesure at that time we are getting sum .

is it possible to retrieve Max value instead of sum value  when data got duplicate . i can understand the problem with partition design but in mdx side can we do anything to get the max value instead of sum value for duplicates.
